HiHi!
Yes, I am finally taking some time off my hectic schedule just to blog.
Let's just say the new year has more downs than ups lately but I ain't gonna let them pull me down!
Also, I know it's been a few months since I last blogged but I promised awesome pictures because.... I BOUGHT A NEW BABYYYYYYY!
Me love my Canon 550D! <3
This is just like holding a baby, having to love every bit of it. heehee
I bought my Canon when I went on my virgin trip to Kuala Lumpur with my family right after my birthday.
Oh yes, I had an awesome birthday and I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee all my gifts!
I ain't gonna display pictures of my gifts right now but will do that soon (individually).
These are some pictures taken on the last day of my KL trip. Not much pictures thou because I only managed to buy it on the second day of my trip.
The pictures below are taken using my galaxybaby.
My Blue Aeropostle Hoodies! <3
View from My Window Seat.
Day 1:
Day-
The Hotel I rested for a good 3 days.
Swiss Gardens Hotel.
Honestly, I think it's one of the best in KL.
Would rate it 4stars.
View from across the hotel.
This is what some of the houses look like in case you're wondering.
Times Square Right Ahead!!!!
Starbucks Coffee, out of nowhere.
First Lunch at KL.
The Infamous Nissin Noodle HK Style.
Dad's, Mom's and Bro's Fav but definitely not mine.
Chinese Herbal Jelly and Herbal Tea. Bleh.
My First Baskin Robbins in KL!
Damn Awesome. (Okay, I forgot what flavor I chose lol)
Night-
We cabbed to Chinatown (Petaling Street) from our hotel.
Had Dinner at this Zi Char Restaurant called Seng Kee.
And we ate there like for two nights.
My parents love it.
Extra spicy chilli.
Mom's fav and I did not put any of that down my gut.
Okok, I know it's not a pleasant sight.
Minced Meat with Rat Noodles.
Erm rat noodles because it looks like their tails. Not literally, please.
After mixing...
Still doesnt look at all but it taste like Char Kway Teow to me.
Their Infamous Big Prawns Crispy Noodle.
Damn Awesome!
Cereal Prawns!
The Many Different Dishes in One "Yong Tau Foo" KL Style.
Not a fan.
My favorite dish of all!
Broccoli! I have never tasted any Broccoli as nice as this! lol
Lol made them to take this picture.
Traditional Chinese Pastry Shop.
Nothing special, nothing new.
One out of the many Chestnuts sellers.
All in All, second day was alright.
I didn't enjoy myself at Chinatown thou.
I think Singapore's Chinatown is way way better(:
Day 2:
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Not too bad but I go so sick of it. Not much choices either.
We cabbed to MidValley Shopping Mall.
Huge Mall with loads of familiar stores and then again, I bought only a ring.
I guess I lost my "shopping" mode along the way.
Ate Baskin-Robbins.
Top- Very Berry Strawberry
Bottom- Strawberry Cheescake
Cheaper than Singapore Defo.
The three of them had Mac's for Lunch which I did not want any.
But I had their Orange Fizz Drink that's only avaliable during CNY!
Awesomely Refreshing!
We made our way to The Gardens just to see how it looks.
Just look at the toilets there!
Ahhh it's almost the same design as the ones in ION except that it's empty and no one is occupying the mirrors in the middle.
Candies at Sungei Wang Plaza. Lol, this is the mall which I did not enjoy myself at all.
Honestly, it sucks and the only thing we bought were candies here which my brother ate almost everything.
On our way to Pavillion Mall and I spot...
SEPHORA! But I didn't enter.
Weird looking bears, overly designed by ambitious artists.
Honestly, I didn't find any bears out of the 147 there cute at all. (No, I did not count them. Google did) Well maybe one or two.
Apparently, they (the United Bears) all had a motto "
"We have to get to know each other better... it makes us understand one another better, trust each other more and live together more peacefully." to follow. LOL hmmm
As of this new year, it's the year of the DRAGON!
I think it's pretty cool and so many people were snapping pictures of this in the mall.
Second night of our trip.
We decided to catch a movie cos my bro says it's so much more cheaper.
I think he's not alone. Almost all Singaporeans go to KL or other parts of Malaysia to watch a movie? You can say they are being kiasu but I think im worse. I'd rather download it and watch it at home lol.
Flying Swords of Dragon Gate in 3D starring Jet Li. Lol, I know its a chinese film but hey, It's in Cantonese! That's what I like about it. We paid only 7Sgd for a ticket and I think it cost 15+Sgd in Spore? Hmmm...
And these awesome, good quality pictures are taken using my canonbaby.
KL's Mac's. They charge for BBQ and other sauces! ):
KRISY KREMES!!! But I don't like it at all.
All my buys in KL! (Back to Front Row)
- Baby Canon (Filled with a bag, tripod, extra batt, memory card, lens filter and my love!)
- Flashlight for babycanon
- My Authentic EverLast backpack, you won't believe how much I paid for it
- My Beats Headset
- Nike Shoes in Grey and Neon Green! (I decided to try Nike once because I have always been a huge fan of Adidas)
- iPanema flipflops! Dirt cheap I swear.
- The beige, blue and purple shirt from Factory Outlet Store. 3 for 18.75SGD so its about $6 for one top!!! Btw, the beige one is for Jason and it says (Captain of this team)
- F21 Bralet! I love the colour mix of purple, pink, blue and orange! Paid $6+ for it as well(:
- Cache Cache Knit Sweater! This is my favourite buy, second to my babycanon. Only 22Sgd!
- Long Black Knit Vest for Kitsche! I paid 15Sgd!
- Gladiator Finger Ring from Diva. Cost about Sgd10 which I kinda regret buying
There! My I <3 MUSTACHES shirt from FOS.
I think it's rather cute but I am not a fan of Mustaches or Beards or Goatee!
I like guys with clean shaven faces!
Okay, that wraps up my KL trip.
Do I want to go back to KL again?
Honestly, I can't be sure but if I'm visiting, I would only stay for a maximum of 3 days.
See you in my next post!
