A Very Astro Boy Birthday.

Celebrated my cousin's happy 3rd birthday yesterday.
Initially, my aunt wanted to get his birthday cake from Bengawan Solo because they had the Winnie the Pool series. (My cousin loves piglet!)

But I suddenly thought of Mastura, whose aunt and herself can bake really well.
So last Saturday, I placed my order for an Astro Boy Cake which I went to collect yesterday.

Rushed down from work immediately to Tampines to meet Desmond first and then get the cake from Mas.

I know I'm sucha noob because I'm a total stranger when I go to new places and I can actually count the number of times I went to Tampines in my entire life.

Thank God for Desmond, I managed to get to Mas's aunt place to collect the cake.

Mas's aunt is really pretty. And again, I think that her family don't look fully Malay.
They have this strong Chinese features! Just look at Mas, so pretty!<3

After collecting the cake for the baker, I made my way back to Grandpa's place again.

My cousins, aunts and uncles were too excited about the cake and they asked me to opened the box for a peek. (Pictures below)
All of us were stoked at how awesome it looks.

Flavor: Chocolate layered cake with Fresh Strawberry bits in between the cream.
Tons of Chocolate Rice surrounding the cake and orange cream as the rim.
Not forgetting the printed Astro Boy picture.

My whole family really love the cake.
Especially the children. I guess the picture plays the biggest role.
For the adults, it's really difficult to please my aunts and uncles with a good cake.
I was amazed thou, they actually love it!
They say it wasn't too sweet and it looks really pretty.

For the month of May, my family is planning to get another cake to celebrate the May Babies Birthday.
And we will definitely patronize Mastura again!
